Rob Hailstone, an ex-residential property conveyancer, with over 45 years’ experience, formed the Bold Legal Group (BLG) in 2010.

With the implementation of the Legal Services Act 2007, a new SRA Handbook and many other issues to deal with, Rob realised that many law firms would need an extra ‘pair of eyes’ to make sure they were kept fully informed and up to date with issues such as:

Increasing Rents and Ground Rents

Schedule 2 Housing Act 1988

Estate Rentcharges

Professional Indemnity Insurance

AML/ID issues

SRA Fraud/Scam Alerts

The Building Safety Act

Mission creep

Lender Panel Requirements

The Conveyancing Quality Scheme

SDLT

Climate change

HMLR delays

Material/Upfront information requirements 2023

Rob has an extensive number of contacts in the legal profession, making sure that the BLG members are kept as fully informed as is possible with all relevant changes that will affect and have an impact on the way they work, advise their clients, and manage and run their firms. Unlike other legal networks BLG members work together, they share experiences, problems, solutions and successes. They help fight each other’s corner if necessary. Our main aim is to empower BLG members to confidently embrace and exploit the new opportunities that the changing legal landscape creates and to ensure that clients have continued access to good efficient legal advice and help throughout England and Wales.
